Shipping Policy

Processing times

  • Items are shipped within 3-5 working days.
  • Orders for custom or personalised items (such as baubles and sewing kits) will be shipped in 3-5 working days, allowing for production time.
  • A notice will be added to the website in the event we are away and unable to ship items for a short period.

Shipping method and estimated delivery times

All Flowing Fibres items are sent in boarded envelopes or cardboard mailers to ensure they reach you in tip top condition and as sustainably as possible. Some items are sent in fully recyclable poly mailers with biodegradable additives, which can be both reused or degraded. Please check your local recycling facilities for disposal options, though we always encourage you to reuse them first.

UK orders are posted second class and should be with you within 2-3 working days of shipping, but Royal Mail delays beyond our control do occur over Christmas and other busy periods.

Royal Mail aim to deliver international orders within 8 working days, but please allow 15 working days (three weeks) from shipping, due to delays at customs, which are common during busy periods. Please consider timings when placing your order.

We will always do our best to meet these shipping estimates, but can't guarantee them, due to courier, local customs and delivery delays. 

Free shipping 

Where free shipping applies, orders will be shipped by second class, or Royal Mail Tracked 48 courier, depending on value. Upgrades to first class or Tracked 24 are available on request.

Customs and import taxes

Customers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Hello Treacle is not responsible for charges or delays due to customs.
