Acrylic Bobbins

Say goodbye to dog-eared cardboard bobbins and hello to these gorgeous acrylic ones. Thoughtfully designed to fit standard floss boxes, they feature two handy holes—perfect for holding pre-cut strands so they don’t end up in a doom pile of tangled thread (don’t worry, you’re not alone 👀).

Lovingly designed and laser cut in my Durham studio, these bobbins are made from frosted, translucent Perspex with a smooth matte finish. Each one measures 35 x 40 mm and is 3 mm thick—sturdy, stylish, and built to last.

Each set includes 10 bobbins in a colour of your choice, complete with a little hole so you can pop them onto a binder ring or one of those flexi keyring loopy thingies (technical term).

Choose from green, pink, yellow, or blue — and if you’d like a binder ring to go with them, you can add one of those, too!

Notes:

I keep a number of bobbin sets ready to ship, but they will often be cut to order to minimise the risk of waste. Please allow 3-5 working days for bobbins to ship, though they'll usually ship much sooner. If your order is urgent, please add a note at checkout to let me know!

Shipping:

All orders are shipped second class in the UK. I typically ship on Monday or Tuesday only (allowing for Bank Holidays) due to family and care commitments. If you need something rushed, please contact me before placing an order so that I can confirm whether it's possible to get it shipped sooner.

I avoid single use plastics wherever possible and the majority of orders ship in paper or card based containers, recycled wherever possible. Any plastic-based mailers used are done so with careful consideration to make sure your order reaches you safely. These mailers are recyclable with biodegradable additive because I care greatly about the planet, and I encourage you to reuse them wherever possible.
