Got A Touch Of The 'Tism - Coat Pin

Being diagnosed autistic in my 40s was cause for celebration - a very unsurprising confirmation of what friends already knew to be true, it was a super affirming event and one that I hope to hold with fond memories.

I've never felt more at home with any diagnosis than I have with my neurodivergent ones. Being able to view life's ups and downs through a new lens and recognising that you weren't ever a problem - you just see, experience, and respond to the world differently.

This particular design came to life the day I was diagnosed - when I sent my husband out for a 'Tism cake to celebrate my me-ness. Hope you love it as much as I do.

Measurements:

• Flag: 35mm wide by 35mm tall
• Approx 4.5mm thick
• Pin 50mm wide
• Flag made from mirrored acrylic and responsibly sourced plywood

Important notes:

• Please avoid spraying with hairspray or perfumes, as chemicals may affect the surface of your pin.
• I keep a small number of these pins in stock, but they will occasionally be made to order, with a turnaround time of approx 5 working days. If you order is urgent, please let me know so that it can be prioritised.

Shipping: 

All orders are shipped second class in the UK. I typically ship on Monday or Tuesday only (allowing for Bank Holidays) due to family and care commitments. If you need something rushed, please contact me before placing an order so that I can confirm whether it's possible to get it shipped sooner.

I avoid single use plastics wherever possible and the majority of orders ship in paper or card based containers, recycled wherever possible. Any plastic-based mailers used are done so with careful consideration to make sure your order reaches you safely. These mailers are recyclable with biodegradable additive because I care greatly about the planet, and I encourage you to reuse them wherever possible.
